It varies with size, insulation level, windows, and finish - a single-car door with basic options and a double-wide with Intellicore and glass are very different doors. We give you a firm written quote at your free estimate, including haul-away of the old door and all new hardware.
The factory finish is warrantied by Clopay and holds up well in coastal Orange County. Unlike wood, there is no re-staining cycle - an occasional rinse is the entire maintenance routine.
For a detached garage used only for parking, the mid-tier insulation is usually plenty. If the garage is attached, under a bedroom, or used as a gym or shop, the Intellicore upgrade pays for itself in comfort and noise reduction.
Usually yes, if it is in good shape - we rebalance the new door and recalibrate the opener force settings. If your opener is 15+ years old, we will give you the option to replace it during the same install and save on labor.
Coachman doors are built to order. Typical lead time runs a few weeks depending on options and Clopay’s current production schedule. Installation itself takes most of a day.
